The strength of dam lines is now in International Show Jumping circles considered to have far more influence than even the greatest of sires. Chacco Blue needs no introduction and is the leadiing sire of Show Jumpers in the world and can also take credit for being the sire of the current Olympic Show Jumpiing iindividual Gold Medalliist Explosion W ridden by Team GBR's Ben Maher. In all,  as of the 21st of July Chacco Blue has 193 offspring jumping at either 1.60m, 1.65m or 1.70m.

Chacco Blue and his graded stallion sons have long held the mantle as auction topping sires through their offsrping at auction and Chacco Blue is considered the world-over to be the "Maker of stalliions".

The exceptional 1.60m International Show Jumping mare Balulu

Balulu show Jumped with great success with Billy Twomey and prior to competing with him she also had success with Max Routledge. In all, Balulu has had four International Jumping starts at 1.60m, 9 starts at either 1.55m.1.50m. She also competed in 15 Young Horse Classes, 3 x World Cups, and on 7 Team appearances. With Max she was 2nd in the CSIO5* 1.60m in Dijon.

Balulu as her name suggests is by Balou Du Rouet who is ranked the number 19 sale of show jumpers in the world unde the WBFSH sire rankings for Show Jumpers.  Balou Du Rouet has sired 90 offspring show jumpiing Internatiional at 1.60m and he can also take crediit for a number of CCI5* eventers includiing Sarah Bullimore's FEI Eventing Team Gold Medallist Corouet and Kristina Cook's Olympic Eventer Billy The Red.  Kristinia Cook & Billy The Red won European team gold in 2017, finishing fourth individually, and team silver in 2019, and was travelling reserve for the 2016 Olympics.

Balou Du Rouet's career path as a stallion staerted as a young horse. After winning one young horse class after another and gaining marks up to 10.0 in his 30-day test, Balou du Rouet successfully competed at 1.50m himself and went on to have more than 19 wins at this level. In 2005 he caught everyone's attention by scoring the highest mark of 9.2 at the National Championships, making him one of Germany's top 4 licensed stallions.

Wendolyn, dam of Balulu is by Guidam who show jumped himself at 1.60m very successfully and has gone on to sire 39 other horses show jumping at 1.60m or higher.
